Do You Think Me A Whore?

Do you think me a whore
Just because I want more?
Just because I want another to adore?
Just because I know what to ask for?
You judge and deplore
Critique and abhor
But really you lack the rapport
To get a partner onto the floor
Onto all fours and willing to explore
Your personality inspires rancour
Like gremlin from folklore
A conservative dinosaur
An outdated bore
Desperately judging what you wish to score
Secretly lamenting how you too cannot soar
Thus I choose to ignore
Because I know love isn’t a chore
Not something to close behind a door
Not something to relegate to yore
I make being a whore a part of my core
A part of my lore
A part of my decor
Therefore
I won’t listen to you anymore
I won’t keep open your drawer
I won’t wear the labels you implore
No longer your opinion will I try to restore
I own the fact that I am a whore
